Kannan has served 25 years as a trusted business advisor with a background in accounting, finance and corporate strategy.

He has advised private equity and corporate clients on all aspects of M&A, including financial due diligence, synergy quantification, and merger integration services for buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Kannan has experience in M&A Advisory at Deloitte, Corporate Development and Strategy at BlackRock, and running his own firm, Avanon Consulting, which advised high-growth technology and healthcare companies.

Kannan led teams in the Transaction Services Group for the New York office at Riveron and played a significant role in recruitment, training, and business development initiatives.

Kannan is qualified as a CPA in both Canada and the USA and holds a joint MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and the Schulich School of Business.
